These terms are an agreement between you and Enzo ("we") about your use of the Enzo app for Mac, your Enzo account and Enzo's online service. By creating an account or using Enzo, you agree to them.
Your account
You need an Enzo account to use Enzo. You must be at least 16, give a real email address or sign in with Apple or Google, and keep your sign-in secure. An account is for one person, and you may use it on your own Macs. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Plans and the trial
Enzo has a Free plan and paid plans (Plus and Pro), described with their prices and allowances at tryenzo.ai/pricing and in the app.
- Free has no time limit. You can try Plus free for 14 days, once per person: you start the trial from the app, checkout asks for a card and charges nothing that day, and your card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Pro has no trial.
- AI features use an allowance that resets on a schedule shown in the app. When an allowance runs out, AI features wait until it resets or until you change plans. Recording, transcription and everything saved on your Mac keep working.
- We may change what each plan includes, its allowances or its price. If a change reduces what a paid plan includes or raises its price, we will tell you in advance, and it applies from your next billing period.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are sold by Polar, our merchant of record, and billed monthly or yearly in advance. They renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the app (Settings, Plan, Cancel plan); your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Free. Taxes are calculated by Polar where they apply.
Refunds. If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, contact us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. After that, payments are not refunded for partial periods, except where the law requires it.
Using Enzo responsibly
- Recording consent. Laws about recording conversations differ by place, and some require everyone's consent. You are responsible for telling people and getting consent where the law requires it before you record them.
- Connected apps. When you connect Google, Microsoft or other accounts, you confirm you are allowed to access them, and their own terms also apply.
- AI answers can be wrong. Enzo's answers, notes and drafts are generated by AI and can contain mistakes. Check the sources shown with an answer, and review anything before you send it or rely on it. Enzo sends or creates something only when you confirm it.
- Don't misuse the service. Don't use Enzo to break the law or infringe others' rights, try to get around usage limits or plan restrictions, share an account, resell access, overload or probe the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
Your content
What you record, write and collect with Enzo is yours. It stays on your Mac, as described in the Privacy Policy. You let us process the parts you send to Enzo's service only to provide the features you use, not to train AI models. You are responsible for having the right to use the content you give Enzo.
The app and updates
We license the Enzo app to you for personal or internal business use on Macs you own or control. We may release updates, and some features may need the latest version. Enzo needs macOS 15 or later on Apple silicon.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Enzo at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to hello@tryenzo.ai. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable. If we stop offering the service, we will give you reasonable notice, and what is saved on your Mac stays yours.
Disclaimers
Enzo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that Enzo will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Enzo after that means you accept the updated terms.
